'Prometheus' Star Guy Pearce's Finest TED Talks
Should you were not looking forward to "Prometheus" before, the current TED Talk distributed by Guy Pearce's character, Peter Weyland, should have the desired effect. The 3-minute short was created by "Prometheus" director Ridley Scott and author Damon Lindelof, showing the founding father of the Weyland-Yutani company delivering a rousing speech about the way forward for technology and robotics. It is a enticing teaser of what is to include "Prometheus," creating quite decisively that, yes, this may occur within the "Alien" world, which Peter Weyland character is actually quite the shadester. Large props to Pearce for delivering probably the most compelling performances of 2012 up to now. Actually, I type of seem like Pearce must carry on doing in-character TED Talks its his famous roles. I can tell a number of them now Staff Sergeant Matt Thompson, "The Hurt Locker" (2008): "Explosive device disposal is like existence. About a minute, your existence is beneath your complete and total control. The following minute" Alexander Hartdegan, "Time Machine" (2002): "How did I recieve here? No, not time travel part, I recieve that. I am talking about, how did I recieve here? I am a great actor. What am I doing here?" Leonard Shelby, "Reminder" (2000): "Now remember, the most crucial lesson you have to tote around in existence it's um ah, s---. What were we speaking about again?" Captain John Boyd, "Ravenous" (1999): "What does not kill you, enables you to more powerful. And when you consume the one thing that attempted to kill you, dudes, you are likely to be really strong. I am not attempting to let you know to consume people, but I am type of suggesting to consume people." Edmund J. Exley, "L.A. Private" (1997): "'A hooker cut to appear like Lana Turner continues to be a hooker.' Important suggestion: never say individuals words to some lady, ever. Also, Rollo Tomasi. I do not fully realize who that guy is, but I am confident he sucks." Provide us with your Guy Pearce TED Talks within the comments section as well as on Twitter!
